Gillian Simkiss, Principal
Gillian is an organizational development consultant with over two decades of experience working in the field of learning and development. After graduating in hotel and business management in the United Kingdom, she worked in operations and human resources for several years, before moving into organizational development in a variety of industries.
Gillian moved to the United States in 1998 and worked for twelve years at Partners Healthcare within the hospital community at Massachusetts General Hospital and as Director of Training and Development for Partners Finance. Currently Gillian works as a Training Manager at Harvard University where she is responsible for creating professional development training programs as well as the design of new learning initiatives. Gillian also assists a range of departments as an internal consultant, one-on-one leadership coach, strategic planning advisor, and process improvement guide. In her private consulting practice, Gillian works with organizations as a facilitator, leadership coach, and internal change consultant.
Gillian holds a Master’s Degree from Suffolk University in Organizational Learning and Development (MSOLD), and a Certificate in Executive Coaching from William James College (ICF). She is a practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and is a chartered member of the Institute of Personnel Development (MCIPD) in the United Kingdom.
